* Who the Heck is Brian Dail, Anyway?
Brian Dail and his wife, Deb Davenport, live in Rapid City, South Dakota with 3 spinoni and 2 springer spaniels. Aside from a full time job,
Brian's activities include an amazing amount of charitable work:
South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures: Treasurer and Founding Member. This new organization provides hunting opportunities to disadvantaged kids from 12 to 15. Brian has been involved from the initial concept discussion stage, through the planning, organization, fund raising (they raised over $10,000 in less than 6 weeks) to the implementation of the program. In addition, Brian recruited mentors who met the requirements developed in conjunction with Youth and Family Services and then matched each mentors with a young participant, ensuring both attended as a team the hunter safely courses and shooting training. The final stage of the program will be this September when each mentor takes his mentee out hunting and they harvest a doe. For some of these kids this doe will probably be the only meat the family will have this winter.
